Word around the campfire, V-Town legend Mac Dre inspired the bizarre bathroom scene in his “Get Back” music video. Director Spike Jonze hires Fatlip (a former member of the group The Pharcyde) to impersonate Dre. According to friends close to the late rapper, Mac Dre who was apparently pilled-up approached Ludacris backstage at a showin Oakland with an offer to record a song together at his personal home studio. Ludacris politely declined, but in the video the incidentwas grossly exaggereated.
